Degussa

Degussa AG has named Joe Principe as vice president, marketing and sales, for the Exclusive Synthesis business part of the Exclusive Synthesis & Catalysts business unit. Mr. Principe joined the company in 2000 as a manager, business development, for Degussa’s Raylo site. In 2003 he took over responsibility for marketing and sales for Exclusive Synthesis in the NAFTA region. He reports to Dr. Rudolf Hanko, vice president and general manager for the Exclusive Synthesis business line.

Mr. Principe began his career in 1983 as the general manager of an analytical laboratory providing forensic analytical services. From 1995 to 2000 he held positions as a national account manager and district sales manager at Warner Lambert’s Warner Chilcott Division and as a manager, business development, Custom Pharma, at Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Principe is a member of the DCAT membership committee and the American Chemical Society.
